Château Bertineau St Vincent

Varietal: 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc

Vintage: 2009

Region: Bordeaux - Rive Droite

Harvest Method: Harvesting is by hand and double sorted.

Vinification: The fermentations take place in small stainless steel vats for a partial vinification.

Aging Process: French oak barrels, for a period of 15 months.

Aroma/Palate: The aroma delivers very mature black fruits with notes of toast, cigar box, caramel and a light animal touch (leather). On the palate we have a very lively and balanced wine, with ripe tannins and excellent acidity, showing ripe fruit flavors and raisins in the long and complex final. A magnificent red wine, which is definitely one of the great exponents of the region!

Serving Temperature: 14°-16°C/57°-60°F
