Domaine Souviou is located in Provence, in the village of Le Beausset.  It extends over 175 acres of vineyards, olive groves and luscious forest overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.  It is a magical place with over 1000 years of history and a true haven to more than 6000 olive trees, which rise majestically on terraces as testimony to their existence for a millennium. The vineyards are lined with noble grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Grenache and Carignan.  All harvest is done by hand and observe sustainable agricultural techniques. Our wines are made under the prestigious appellations Bandol and Côtes de Provence and have been deservingly honored with numerous awards. 

 

 

AOP Cotes de Provence Sainte-Victoire, 2012

A beautiful pale pink color with silver highlights reveals aromas of red berries and a wonderful minerality. Its supple expression leads to a finish that is rich and delicate at the same time.

80% Grenache, 20% Cinsault

AOP Bandol Red, 2010

A nice dark color with wild and powerful aromas and notes of licorice spices and ripe red fruit. Full and generous on the palate with a fine tannic textured finish. Red Bandol wines are ideally served with grilled red meats, marinated or non-marinated, and various meats in sauces. It is also served with chocolate-based desserts. Aged 18 months in oak barrel.

75% Mourvedre, 10% Grenache, 10% Carignan, 5% Cinsault

AOP Palette Red, 2011

This wine has a deep cherry color that contrasts with its delicate and fresh bouquet, distinguished by aromas of fresh fruit (raspberry). Full and generous on the palate with a fine and delicate finish. It is characterized by young yet silky tannins, with a pleasant persistence of spicy notes. Aged 18 months in oak barrel.
