Orione_logo.pngOrione was born from the desire of the Corte San Benedetto Winery to offer their wines to the foreign market. The Winery based in the Valpolicella Classica area has 18 Hectares (44.5 acres) of vineyards located in the most important areas of Valpolicella. The Winery produces, in an artisan way, the most famous local wines, wines famous all over the world under the name of Amarone and Valpolicella Ripasso.  The area stands out in the Valpolicella Classica 5 valleys, each of which has its own character, the valley Orione is part of is the Negrar. This area is flat land that starts at about 90 meters above sea level with clay and limestone soil. The area is bounded by two ridges to the east and west. It is a valley that offers elegant wines of great structure, taste and great potential aging.  The typical flavor of the wines of this valley is the 'cherry'.
