Château Pedesclaux Le Haut Medoc de Pedesclaux
Varietal: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc Vintage: 2009 Region: Bordeaux AOC Harvest Method/Vinification: For the vinification of its grapes, Château Pédesclaux has opted for the traditional method. In order to carry out this, thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks are used. Depending on the cuvées desired, if the quality of the grapes and the year allows, the estate vinifies the musts directly undergrowth in oak barrels to about 30%. The estate practices malolactic fermentation for red wines. These are then glued with egg white base (clarification). Aroma/Palate: A beautiful deep purple color, aromatic nose with lovely ripe black fruit, a well-rounded palate with silky tannins and a nice smooth finish. Serving Temperature: 15°C/59°F |
